Windows 8 Tile Icon for MBT?

Is there a nice tile icon I could use for MBT?

I did have the PC booting straight into MBT as that's all I used the PC for, but I've now put a decent GPU in it for gaming, so trying to figure the best way to configure it so the wife and kids can use it with ease.

I did have the Steam Big Picture MBT app installed but I seem to be suffering from issues with which window is on top and occasionally seeing the windows mouse cursor on top of Steam Big Picture etc...

If anyone has any suggestions as to the best way to configure it all for ease of use that would be great!

I have Xbox 360 wireless controller, but would hope that my Harmony Ultimate can navigate the tiles on the metro screen although not got around to trying it yet.

Cheers!

I'm currently working on the same plan.  I will be migrating my htpcs to 8 and will use the start screen as my media dashboard.  I'm basically waiting on the MB software to reach a certain level of completeness for my own uses.

You can indeed setup a Harmony remote to navigate the start screen.  Then you have to make sure any app your launching also works properly with a remote or you might have to bind keyboard shortcuts.  Of course MBT works fine with the remote.

I would love to see proper support for live tiles though since I can imagine looking at the tile to see maybe the latest content that had been added or maybe just when an update had occurred.  Being able to use the three tile sizes offers possibilities. Maybe this can be done down the road.

You can buy the Windows 8 modern app to see a Live tile for the MB server. MBT would not support the live tiles because it isn't a windows 8 modern app. Windows 8 modern apps aren't made for mouse, keyboard and remotes. Some of them don't even work with the keyboard.

I downloaded the trial version. It looks really nice and is very flash, however there are two show stopper issues for me :-

1 - doesn't bitstream, so no HD audio possible

2 - works terribly with my remote

It is meant for a mobile device not an HTPC. It wouldn't work well with a remote. I mentioned it only because you wanted to see a live tile for what is added to the server.
