how do I change the media format of videos that I have already uploaded to Emby.

if you have a video in mp4 format on your hdd and upload it to your server and want to convert it to mpeg for what should you do

i installed the plugin but how do i convert a single season of s show to mpeg.  I selected the three dots at the bottom of the movie and the sync or convert options were not there.

First you have to configure the plugin as described in the wiki above. It is under the Download to Other Device menu.

 

But be aware, you can't just pick mpeg. It is designed to produce streaming friendly formats so it will convert to mp4 or mkv.
