Thecrewof5 0 Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 Can't get pass the loading screen once a selsct a server. Just hangs.
Thecrewof5 0 Posted May 18, 2017 Author Posted May 18, 2017 Just realized it's not showing local address
ebr 16169 Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 Hi. Can you try adding your server manually with the proper address? How to Report a Problem
ebr 16169 Posted May 19, 2017 Posted May 19, 2017 On the screen where you select a server, choose "Add Server" instead.
Thecrewof5 0 Posted May 19, 2017 Author Posted May 19, 2017 There is still no local address on the dashboard to add to the new server
Luke 42077 Posted May 19, 2017 Posted May 19, 2017 This means the server might be unable to detect your local ip address. This is not a problem if you happen to know the Ip Address, which it sounds like you don't. Can you please provide the emby server log? You can learn how to do that here: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/739-how-to-report-a-problem/ Thanks !
Thecrewof5 0 Posted May 21, 2017 Author Posted May 21, 2017 I have just added a binding address but it still won't connect, it's like the server isn't on but it's connected to my web browser.
Sven 136 Posted May 21, 2017 Posted May 21, 2017 But can you post the logs? We can't see what the problem is without the logs...
Thecrewof5 0 Posted May 21, 2017 Author Posted May 21, 2017 I get an error stating that I don't have that path to get to the logs
Thecrewof5 0 Posted May 21, 2017 Author Posted May 21, 2017 (edited) This the latest one server-63630692734.txt Edited May 21, 2017 by Thecrewof5
Thecrewof5 0 Posted May 22, 2017 Author Posted May 22, 2017 I posted the log, do I need emby premiere to actually use the server?
Thecrewof5 0 Posted May 22, 2017 Author Posted May 22, 2017 Still not sure why my server isn't up I reinstalled the whole server twice, bonded the remote access and still not up
Thecrewof5 0 Posted May 22, 2017 Author Posted May 22, 2017 How do I do that exactly outside of just clicking the app and watching it load?
Thecrewof5 0 Posted May 25, 2017 Author Posted May 25, 2017 My server still isn't working I'm not sure what I need to do next
ebr 16169 Posted May 25, 2017 Posted May 25, 2017 Can you access it from a web browser on the same machine using the address "localhost:8096"? How about from a different machine on the network using the machine name?
Thecrewof5 0 Posted May 25, 2017 Author Posted May 25, 2017 On local machine it's showing an ipv6 address though
