nVidia 580 GTX with Media Browser Theater?

I'm still playing around with the idea of building an HTPC so I'm just using an old PC for now.   I'm playing back my HTPC through my Anthem AVP.   I'm getting surround out through the HDMI on the video card but I'm not getting DTS or DTS-MA or any of the same things I get when streaming through my Oppo.   Does anyone know if the NVidia 580 will playback DTS-MA through MBT?

The 570 and 580 did not support dts-ma or dolby true hd in bitstream.  You would have ot send it lpcm or use the normal dts and dolby tracks if you want to bitstream.

look at some of the cheap ati cards, i have a 6750 which i paid £40 for, does every thing in need.

Yeh I bought a 6570 cheap and it does everything I need it to do.Also fanless so no noise which imo is really important in a HTPC.

Thanks.  I don't have any other HDMI cards to test with, just the 580.   Good to know.
