Setting Default User Permissions

Is there a way to setup default permissions for new users?

 

I want to be able to have default settings for users that I add. For example, I don't want to allow people to manage my TV recordings, but that is enabled by default. Whenever I invite a new user to my server, I then have to go in and manage their settings once they have accepted the invite and disable such options.

 

Sometimes I forget to update it, so it would be nice to have the options I want set automatically.

Has this been looked at further. Where do the permissions come from now? Seems everyone has delete and download . Not ideal for me.

The issue is, those options are only available to edit AFTER they have accepted the invite. They have access to those features in the time between they accept and when I get a chance to go and edit their permissions. The original post here was asking about a default profile to follow for all new users. Which is really needed
