Recommended LiveTV folders.??

This is my first post ... so bare with me. For LiveTV recording what is the recommended folder structure Network (local)  or HD local for ex:

 

\\EMBSERVER\EMBY\TVShows or D:\EMBY\TVShows

 

I am very pleased with EMBY so far and did not hesitate to become a Lifetime member. Looking to have an optimized Server.

My Clients are the 2 Shields 1 Samsung SmartTV. and 2 windows clients.

I would use the direct path.
