johnfli 0 Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 I use the basic feature of emby, as it usually does what I want it to do. I put video fils in a directory, emby scans it, and makes it available to watch on my tv through my roku device. One thing I don't understand.... when my Internet access is down, I cannot watch anything. Eveything seems fine at first, I start the emby app on my roku, then when I am asked to select my server, I select it, then it tells me it cannot be found. It shouldn't depend if my Internet is up or not, as it's a local machine. What is the deal?
ebr 16184 Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 The particular connection you are selecting may be an external one. Try removing the server and restarting the app and let it rediscover your local one.
johnfli 0 Posted May 15, 2017 Author Posted May 15, 2017 Funny you should suggest that....... I have 3 other 'servers' listed (from previous emby attempts) and I have tried removing them before. It never does. SO I am not able to remove teh one I actually am using and do a discovery
Luke 42079 Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 @@johnfli can you please elaborate on I have tried removing them before. It never does. Thanks.
