mezz64 14 Posted May 14, 2017 Posted May 14, 2017 I've been having a weird problem since the switch to the new player backend. After playing a media file for 5 minutes the progress is no longer being reported back to the server and the player looks like it's idle and not in playing state. I've tried with a few different types (movies and tv episodes) and the status always flips back to idle once I get past 5 minutes of play into the file. Any insight is appreciated.

Jdiesel 1431 Posted May 16, 2017 Posted May 16, 2017 I have noticed this happening in a few other apps as well, specifically the Kodi app but also the Roku and the Mobile Chrome browser. Let me know if you need any log files.

mezz64 14 Posted May 17, 2017 Author Posted May 17, 2017 Reporting in that things are currently working as expected again with Theater version 2.7.1 and server version 3.2.17.0. I was on Theater version 2.7 and server version 3.2.15.0 when I reported the issue so I unfortunately do not know which update (or both) got things working again.
