Emby + Rclone Crypt G-Drive

Hi :)  i been trying to setup a emby server on Xubuntu 16.04.2 LTS with a rclone crypt Google Drive...

Usually ppl will be running on Amazon Cloud Drive and using plex but here where i live i get poor speeds to ACD..  and get good speeds with Google drive..   and i have a hard time going back to plex after been using emby for a couple of years..

so there's not much info on running emby on Gdrive..

Usually ppl running plex have problems scanning their library..  creates too many api calls and results in a temp ban (Lifted at midnight Pacific Time, 9 in the morning CET), that seems not to be the problem running emby..  i can easily scan my ~40TB library..  no bans..

i can also easily play my media locally..  np there..  well a thing i noticed is that when i play something that needs transcoding it won't show the correct movie length..  it shows movie only a couple of minutes long..  and extends it every 2 seconds or so..   but it plays with no problems..

but as son someone outside my lan tries to play anything it stutters for a couple of seconds and after 10 sec a G-Drive ban...

i really don't get it..   There should be no difference to G-Drive if it's a local user or a remote user playing media ??   any1 have any clue on whats going on ??

Since im Admin of my Gsuites Account i could provide a G-Drive account to test with if any1 knowledgeable will have a go at it :)

Hi, this is probably due to either the initial library scan not completing yet, or the server failing to probe the files for whatever reason with ffprobe. Without the probe there will be no media info, and thus, no runtime. And this will cause unnecessary transcoding.

Try refreshing one of these titles from the detail screen of the web app. Thanks.
