tymanthius 18 Posted May 22, 2017 Posted May 22, 2017 Yea, the build servers don't seem to be keeping up very well at all lately. :/
isamudaison 12 Posted May 25, 2017 Posted May 25, 2017 What distro are you on? The severs are backup and running. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk On Linux mint 18 (aka Ubuntu 16.04)... still isn't wanting to update me, I'll do it manually.
isamudaison 12 Posted May 25, 2017 Posted May 25, 2017 This seems to be the problem... I blew away the emby-server entry in dpkg/status, re-did the apt update & apt upgrade, was greeted with this: Preparing to unpack .../emby-server_3.2.17.0-35.1_all.deb ...Unpacking emby-server (3.2.17.0-35.1) ...Processing triggers for systemd (229-4ubuntu17) ...Processing triggers for ureadahead (0.100.0-19) ...Setting up emby-server (3.2.17.0-35.1) ... But I'm still running 3.2.15... so it looks like there's a mis-configuration in your repo.

isamudaison 12 Posted May 25, 2017 Posted May 25, 2017 sudo service emby-server restart Yup, did that (actually, the preferred way to do it with sytemd is sudo systemctl restart emby-server.service )
isamudaison 12 Posted May 25, 2017 Posted May 25, 2017 Another interesting note is that my dkpg status file shows I *should* have the newest version: Package: emby-server Status: install ok installed Priority: optional Section: misc Installed-Size: 31808 Maintainer: HurricaneHernandez <carlos@techbyte.ca> Architecture: all Version: 3.2.17.0-35.1 Replaces: emby, emby-server-beta, emby-server-dev, mediabrowser Depends: mono-runtime (>= 3.0~), libc6 (>= 2.23) | libc6.1 (>= 2.23) | libc0.1 (>= 2.23), libmono-corlib4.5-cil (>= 4.0.0~al$ Breaks: emby, emby-server-beta, emby-server-dev, mediabrowser Conflicts: emby, emby-server-beta, emby-server-dev, mediabrowser Conffiles: /etc/default/emby-server 13164439aee617a697ffe6e7b5168170 /etc/emby-server.conf b74ac66a4440d6838f6b93d3559ba78b /etc/init.d/emby-server 08c252cc9ffff901ec3abb7df703eb6a /etc/init/emby-server.conf b87d94f75393cd2293ea5f641dcd7866 /etc/sudoers.d/emby 3792947a259c2807d46afa4118771142 So I'm at a loss...
isamudaison 12 Posted May 25, 2017 Posted May 25, 2017 I've also tried this, but am still at 3.2.15: The following packages will be REINSTALLED: emby-server 0 packages upgraded, 0 newly installed, 1 reinstalled, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded. Need to get 0 B/9,430 kB of archives. After unpacking 0 B will be used. (Reading database ... 389122 files and directories currently installed.) mastrmind11 722 Posted May 25, 2017 Posted May 25, 2017 Yup, did that (actually, the preferred way to do it with sytemd is sudo systemctl restart emby-server.service ) The only reason I suggested that is I had the same problem upgrading, and a restart fixed it. But the build boxes are definitely up to date.
isamudaison 12 Posted May 25, 2017 Posted May 25, 2017 (edited) Try rebooting your machine. Weird... that fixed it. Edit: Looks like the http server got into a bad state and wasn't getting restart properly: System.AggregateException: One or more errors occurred. ---> System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: Address already in use Edited May 25, 2017 by isamudaison
