Ernst 29 Posted May 11, 2017 Posted May 11, 2017 Hi, I noticed that since the mpv version of ET was introduced, the subtitles seem rather big. Is there an option somewhere to reduce the font size? I have subtitles on all the time, but need them to be reasonably sized. Thanks in advance
Luke 42077 Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 We're planning on adding subtitle style settings in a future update. thanks ! 1
Ernst 29 Posted May 13, 2017 Author Posted May 13, 2017 thx Luke, I'll be (im)patiently looking out for that
AdrianW 1058 Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 (edited) In the mean time, find the mpv folder in %AppData% and create a file named "mpv.conf" then paste the following into that file - these are my settings, you'll probably need to alter the sub-font-size value to less than 40. ############# # Subtitles # ############# sub-use-margins sub-ass-force-margins demuxer-mkv-subtitle-preroll # try to correctly show embedded subs when seeking sub-auto=fuzzy # external subs don't have to match the file name exactly to autoload sub-paths=ass:srt:sub:subs:subtitles # search for external subs in the listed subdirectories embeddedfonts=yes # use embedded fonts for SSA/ASS subs sub-fix-timing=yes sub-ass-force-style=Kerning=yes # allows you to override style parameters of ASS scripts # the following options only apply to subtitles without own styling (i.e. not ASS but e.g. SRT) sub-font="Arial Bold" sub-font-size=40 sub-color="#FFFFFFB3" sub-border-color="#FF262626" sub-border-size=1 sub-shadow-offset=2 sub-shadow-color="#A0000000" sub-spacing=0.5 Edited May 13, 2017 by AdrianW 1
