Lane03 14 Posted May 8, 2017 Posted May 8, 2017 Graphics glitch I see on two of my Roku TV's. My third Roku TV doesn't have this issue, but that is a 4k model with I believe a faster cpu than the 1080p models. All the TV's are connected via Ethernet. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8OPOMrLBbY
Lane03 14 Posted May 8, 2017 Author Posted May 8, 2017 (edited) I'm at work right now, but I believe it is 7.5. Edit: All are on software version 7.5.0 Edited May 8, 2017 by Lane03
Lane03 14 Posted May 9, 2017 Author Posted May 9, 2017 They are Roku TV's, not individual Roku boxes. Is there a separate resolution setting within Emby?
ebr 16178 Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 Oh, okay. All 1080 TVs then? Something is wonky with the animation. Just trying to figure out what the common factor is so maybe I can reproduce it.
Lane03 14 Posted May 9, 2017 Author Posted May 9, 2017 I have three Roku TV's. Two are 1080p models that both have the graphics glitch. The third is a 4k model and the animation is perfect.
Lane03 14 Posted May 12, 2017 Author Posted May 12, 2017 Graphic glitch appears to be fixed with the latest update. However, it never gets past the loading screen after selecting what profile to use.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted May 12, 2017 Posted May 12, 2017 Graphic glitch appears to be fixed with the latest update. However, it never gets past the loading screen after selecting what profile to use. I just experienced that but after exiting the app and re-entering it loaded that selected profile. It is like it timed out the first time but keep the credentials and logged in properly the second time.
ebr 16178 Posted May 12, 2017 Posted May 12, 2017 Graphic glitch appears to be fixed with the latest update. However, it never gets past the loading screen after selecting what profile to use. Nothing changed on the busy timer so that was coincidental - or maybe your firmware updated. The hang on logging in is worrisome though...
Lane03 14 Posted May 12, 2017 Author Posted May 12, 2017 Perhaps the graphics appears to be fixed since it can't load anything and the glitch remains? Will report back once the app can log in.
Solution Lane03 14 Posted May 12, 2017 Author Solution Posted May 12, 2017 (edited) 1080p TVs updated to 7.6.0 which fixed the graphics glitch. What's odd is the 4k TV never had the issue on 7.5.0, so I guess it only happens with 1080p Roku TVs on 7.5.0. Edited May 12, 2017 by Lane03
