Was just looking for this feature functionality.  I can define my users in BossTV with a username and define their channels, for example, my mother in law doesn't care about certain sports, she just wants her local channels and westerns.  So I can create her an m3u with just her few channels without having to remove and add tags everywhere in a simple interface on BossTV which allows manipulation of multiple channels/categories at once (limitation on Emby).  Then I can limit her to 1 stream because that is all she will need.  Trying to ask her to use tags and manipulate the interface is too complex for her, so this would be easier.  That is my personal use case.  Thank you for your time.

Would love to have the ability to provide access to different tuners for different users. Channels Tags is not a optimal solution for me since I have channels already with Tags, which would complicate things a bit more. Wouldn't it be viable to treat a specific tuner as a content of a given library? And have different libraries then to different users, granting access to different Live TV sources?

+1 for me also. I have the same situation multiple users with their own iptv account. It is very challenging to assign tags to thousand of channels. If at the bare minimum if we could assign tags to tuners instead of having to do every channel. The other problem on the same subject is recordings when you have multiple users and multiple tuners. There needs to be a way that when a user schedule a recording it is linked to their account so only they can access it and delete it. Either assign them their own recordings folder linked to the tuner or a group folder with individual linked permissions.
