Hello

 

I just purchased Emby and on some items I am getting a hanging and timed out playback. Below is an error report from my log file.

 

Does anybody know how I can fix this?

Hi there, we're very sorry to hear about this. Can you please attach the complete emby server log? What Emby app are you trying to play from? Thanks !

Thanks for the prompt reply, I was trying to play though the Chrome web browser, some items work, others do not. But if I restart the server everything will start working for a while. Please see the log attached,

I'm actually thinking this might be an issue with Chrome specifically as I cant seem to recreate the error in Firefox..

 

It doesnt seem that the url changes sometimes when I play a video, it just hangs on the below url instead of changing to the one below that:

Is this something known?

 

EDIT: Although I am still getting the same error report in the log. Not sure if it matters though

hi @@chrisb750, is this still an issue with 3.2.15? I wouldn't pay attention to the errors in the log because they are normal. As soon as you click stop, the browser is essentially hanging up and the server will keep writing to the stream until the stream is closed. Once it closes, that's when you see that message. Thanks !
