Xanthos 1 Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 (edited) Hi, the GPU hardware accelerated playback og HEVC files isn`t supported. even the test version dated 7th may 2017 doesn't work. Settings under hardware accelearation mode is set to "auto - (copy back)" works well with sharks007 codecs and Windows media player playback. regards Xanthos Edited May 7, 2017 by Xanthos

Xanthos 1 Posted May 7, 2017 Author Posted May 7, 2017 hi, thanks for this fast reply! do i have to change a special setting in emby theater or somewhere else? when i use the "external player" option with the MPC-HC (Media Player Classic - Home Cinema) its working fine with GPU support. where can i find these detail infos ?
Luke 42078 Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 On some systems you may need to enable the high quality opengl profile. Try that. Why don't you think the GPU is being used?
Guest asrequested Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 MPV is more efficient. If you're looking for a GPU usage increase, you may not see one. It doesn't on mine. The only way to know for sure is to look at the logs or stats. And you'll have to make some modifications to do that. But it is working.
Xanthos 1 Posted May 7, 2017 Author Posted May 7, 2017 On some systems you may need to enable the high quality opengl profile. Try that. doesn´t help. Why don't you think the GPU is being used? because it doenst play smoothly. 1-2fps and cpu load on all cores at 100%. at media player classic or windows media player using the shark007 codecs and LAVs "dxva2 native" settings is no effect on the cpu load playing a movie...
Luke 42078 Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 hi @@Xanthos, what version of the app are you on? You can check at the bottom of the settings screen. thanks ! 1
