Sort title stripping

Gidday,

I apologise if this has been answered, I did a search, saw mention of sort title, but no method of stripping the contents from that field.

 

I have a large collection of TV shows, and the displayed order is scattered like a mad dogs breakfast.

Is there any method other than editing each and every record and delete the contents of that field?

 

I hope there is, I have just wasted over an hours time and have finally finished all to the beginning of the 'E' section... grrr.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
