server and client on one PC

HI there 

 

i am using MB 2  for some years now, dan its getting slower at start up loading covers etc.. als other userinterfaces like XBMC are getting more advancer 

So i wonder what mb classic 3 will do im my case starting up faster etc...

 

i read in the text its faster..  but no...  ..  i have a HTPC with alle the movies on. So i have to install Server and Client on that PC..  so at start up of the system

i have to load server and than i can startup client ....  but thats realy not faster .... at startup.. or am i doing something wrong  in my case  

 

The userinterface is nice and smooth , but speed is also an issue

maybe XBMC is a better choice in my case??????

Can you put your machine to sleep instead of actually shutting it down?  That way the server would still be running and wouldn't have to start up every time you powered up.
