robck 1 Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 Hi, I was wondering how this is possible? or why? It seems that the day a show is to be aired, the metadata is updated and the episode is listed, however, it's not downloaded and not available to view as yet? I'm not sure which logs to attached but here is a screen shot. Is this intended behaviour? and if so, how do i stop it from getting the metadata before episode is available.
ebr 16190 Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 There are options in both the library settings and user setting to control the display of missing and future episodes.
robck 1 Posted May 4, 2017 Author Posted May 4, 2017 Thanks for the help! Looks like it was enabled in my User settings, even though it wasn't checked off in the Library Settings. The user settings says that the library settings must be enabled though. Which is odd

This would fall under Upcoming so yes "Todays" shows will show in their Series/Season in the interface. There currently is no way to stop Upcoming metadata for Today from showing in Series/Season folder. Example Todays Blindspot
Luke 42085 Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 The user setting about unaired episodes is off by default, therefore it could have only become checked if you enabled it at some point. Therefore unless I'm mistaking it sounds like the server is doing what you asked it to do, no?
robck 1 Posted May 4, 2017 Author Posted May 4, 2017 I'm pretty sure I never checked that box. I've only now started using emby (about a week). But nonetheless Unchecking it worked. Thanks for the support guys.
Luke 42085 Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 Well I'm glad we figured it out. Thanks for the feedback.

Example Todays Blindspot In that situation, that episode would become "missing" instead of "unaired" because the air date on it is just that - a date. So, past midnight, it is expected to be there.
