k3kiaze 0 Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 Hello, First i wanna thank everyone at emby for their software, I've been using it a few months and its been great, better than what i was using before. This issue is concerning TV shows only, movies work fine. My metadata setup for 'Series' and 'Episodes' is: The Open Movie Database The Movie Db The TVDB When browsing through my TV library (on emby server), I found a few episodes didn't get the IMDB rating into them. For e.g: Boardwalk empire, Season 2, Episode 6. Since I figured out that OMDB was scraping IMDB ratings, i decided to check the omdb website, and here's what I found: {"Title":"The Age of Reason","Year":"2011","Rated":"TV-MA","Released":"30 Oct 2011","Season":"N/A","Episode":"N/A","Runtime":"58 min","Genre":"Crime, Drama, History","Director":"Jeremy Podeswa","Writer":"Terence Winter (created by), Bathsheba Doran, Nelson Johnson (book), Bathsheba Doran (staff writer), Itamar Moses (executive story editor)","Actors":"N/A","Plot":"Lucy's water breaks and labor starts; guilt overpowers Van Alden while at the hospital. Nucky's racketeering case gets sent to federal court where someone uses a New Jersey senator to pull ...","Language":"English","Country":"USA","Awards":"N/A","Poster":"N/A","Metascore":"N/A","imdbRating":"8.1","imdbVotes":"N/A","imdbID":"tt1926431","seriesID":"N/A","Type":"episode","Response":"True"} It shows season: n/a and episode n/a, and i think for this reason it skips OMDB. Because every other episode in this TV series has it's IMDB rating. For e.g: the previous episode i.e. Season 2, Episode 5 shows: {"Title":"Gimcrack and Bunkum","Year":"2011","Rated":"TV-MA","Released":"23 Oct 2011","Season":"2","Episode":"5","Runtime":"51 min","Genre":"Crime, Drama, History","Director":"Timothy Van Patten","Writer":"Terence Winter (created by), Howard Korder, Nelson Johnson (book), Bathsheba Doran (staff writer), Itamar Moses (executive story editor)","Actors":"Steve Buscemi, Michael Pitt, Kelly Macdonald, Michael Shannon","Plot":"With the Commodore's stroke, the conspirators against Nucky realize their error and begin to make bad decisions.","Language":"English","Country":"USA","Awards":"N/A","Poster":"https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/M/MV5BMTY4MDA0NTAzMl5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTcwNjYxNDQ5Ng@@._V1_SX300.jpg","Metascore":"N/A","imdbRating":"8.8","imdbVotes":"1087","imdbID":"tt1919431","seriesID":"tt0979432","Type":"episode","Response":"True"} where season and episode #'s are clearly available. Since I'm a complete n00b, I'd like to know if there's a way around this? What I want is IMDB ratings not TMDB ratings, for all my episodes. I've tried the 'edit info' to manually add the IMDB id (it's already there), and then 'refresh', but that didnt work. Thanks for reading, any advice is appreciated.
Luke 42080 Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 Yes that's correct, it is currently based on the combination of season and episode numbers.
