Set Default for Subtitle to None?

We have a ton of videos with subtitles, most in English, but some in other languages.  Is it possible to set the default for subtitles to NONE?  There is a VERY small percentage of videos that require subtitles (few foreign films, and anime... but I'm the only one who watches anime in the house).  Instead of having to turn subtitles off for 95% of the videos, we'd prefer to enable it for the 5% when needed.

 

Is this possible?

You can change your subtitle settings per user in the Dashboard.

 

They then get reflected in the apps.

As CBers said - web app, click your user icon, click "Playback Settings" - set subtitle handling to "Never play subtitles".

Sorry to revive an old topic, but I don't see anyway to disable subtitles on the playback settings page. Running v3.5.2. Has it moved?
