MBT Maximized, MadVR shows delayed Frames

After doing a fresh install of Windows and getting MBT configured, it works perfectly with 0 dropped frames and 0 delayed frames using Madvr for refresh rate changes (23f) for bluray when MBT is maximized or windowed. DVDs will have 0 dropped frames and 0 delayed frames when MBT is "Windowed" (Not Maximized) but once I maximize MBTs window to my screen, I start getting delayed frames. I can't see a performance difference when I get delayed frames though.

 

I have a DVD I was watching "After Earth" which MadVr states its 23.970 frame rate, later it said it was 23.976 frame rate so with Reclock running I would get delayed frames. The work around is switching to 23hz, which madvr will not do with dvds, and I then get 0 delayed frames.

 

So not sure if this is an issue with MBT, MadVr, or Reclock but im leaning more toward MBT but not really sure.

Its not creating a problem as movies still play fairly smooth. Just wanted to give you a FYI

what have you got set in madvr in display properties?

 

ie. 1080p23, 1080p60  720p60 etc

 

do you have to add something different for DVD playback?

1080p23 and 1080p60

 

DVD playback uses 1080p60. For some reason Madvr doesn't switch to 1080p23 for 23.976 or 23.970 playback from dvds. Only switches with blurays. But the weird thing is, DVD will play without delayed frames in 1080p60 when MBT is windowed. Once MBT is maximized in 1080p60 I get delayed frames. I don't know if Reclock just doesn't work when MBT is maximized? Not sure what stipulations MadVR uses in order to figure out when to switch refresh rates.

Still Current on Latest MBT and SERVER updates. Updated This past weekend.
