shadowchops 1 Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Hi there, I have recently noticed that when watching a file, in the first 5-10 seconds, the video stops with the audio continuing causing it to be out of sync. This also happens if you skip to any point in the film. I am using the latest version of Emby Server on windows and the upto date app on a Fire TV. Thanks, Alfie
ebr 16184 Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Hi. Is a ffmpeg log produced? You can learn about the logs here: How to Report a Problem
shadowchops 1 Posted May 1, 2017 Author Posted May 1, 2017 No ffmpeg log is produced, just a server log. The file is an MP4 and so should play direct but to start off with it says its transcoding and then says direct playing and that's when the video stops and audio carries on for a couple seconds until the video resumes.
Luke 42079 Posted May 2, 2017 Posted May 2, 2017 @@shadowchops can you please attach the server log from the time of playback so that we can take a look? thanks !
shadowchops 1 Posted May 6, 2017 Author Posted May 6, 2017 (edited) Sorry for the delay in replying @@ebr & @@Luke. The problem only seems to happen on one of the fire TV Boxes and no other device including AFTVs; they have all been set up the same. server-63629673612.txt Edited May 7, 2017 by shadowchops
