Burrito78 15 Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 Hi, after a day or two when i want to use my Emby server it doesn't respond anymore and i have to look into DSM package center. I see that Emby service is "stopped" and i have to manually restart it every time. The logs say something went wrong. See the exception log (log.txt), the log where the problem happened (log-1.txt) and the current log after restarting (log-2.txt) in the attached zip file. Regards, Burrito78 Emby Synolgy crash logs.zip
Burrito78 15 Posted April 26, 2017 Author Posted April 26, 2017 Hi Luke! Sorry i didn't include this - it's a 213j. 1
Burrito78 15 Posted April 27, 2017 Author Posted April 27, 2017 Fyi, today i disabled dynamic port mapping because i'm not using DLNA at all and the errors were spamming my logfiles.
Burrito78 15 Posted April 29, 2017 Author Posted April 29, 2017 (edited) It didn't crash again. Don't know if "dynamic port mapping" was the problem or something else. My logs are smaller now, thats for sure! I will post here if the problem comes back. Edited April 29, 2017 by Burrito78
Burrito78 15 Posted June 3, 2017 Author Posted June 3, 2017 (edited) Crashed again today. Not as often as before but still happening from time to time. server-63632044801.txt Edited June 3, 2017 by Burrito78

Luke 42077 Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 Ok, as soon as 3.2.19 is available for Synology please let me know if it reproduces with that. Thanks.

otsego_amigo 2 Posted July 21, 2017 Posted July 21, 2017 Hello, I'm using Emby (Version 3.2.25.0) on the same Synology nas (213j) and can agree. The service often stops working, without changing anything...even with Version 3.2.25.0. I just disabled "dynamic port mapping", too. I'll report if this problem still occurs.
Luke 42077 Posted July 21, 2017 Posted July 21, 2017 @@otsego_amigo, please attach the information requested in how to report a problem. thanks !
otsego_amigo 2 Posted July 21, 2017 Posted July 21, 2017 Hope this will help you If there's a log missing, please let me know. log.zip
Luke 42077 Posted July 21, 2017 Posted July 21, 2017 Thanks. Can you please try uninstalling the kodi sync queue plugin and then let us know if the issue persists? Thanks !
otsego_amigo 2 Posted July 21, 2017 Posted July 21, 2017 I uninstalled the plugin. What information did you take out of the log file? I'll let you know when the service crashed again.
otsego_amigo 2 Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 This time the emby service ran longer as usual but today there was another "crash". server-63636598270.zip
otsego_amigo 2 Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 The issue still persists. Are there any ideas?

otsego_amigo 2 Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 Version 3.2.27.0? I'm still waiting until it's available for Synology devices.
otsego_amigo 2 Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 There's still no update available for (my) Synology nas. Running 3.2.26.0 and waiting for 3.2.28.0.
solabc16 379 Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Hello @@otsego_amigo It will be coming in the next 48 hours, I've been away on annual leave and there's a couple of changes that we need to reintegrate with this release. Best - James
otsego_amigo 2 Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 Until now everything looks good. There were no more crashes so far (Version 3.2.32.0).
