runtimesandbox 171 Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 Would it be possible to get a small section in the emby dashboard to display the servers CPU util / mem usage / networking statistics? 9
Luke 42077 Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 It's a nice idea but our focus is really on media management and playback. What I can commit to though is that if there is a community member interested in building this sort of widget, then I can make it possible for it to be inserted into the dashboard.

lightsout 156 Posted February 22, 2019 Posted February 22, 2019 I would love to see this as well for windows. Would be helpful when messing with the server remotely to know what is going on. 1
Neminem 1518 Posted February 22, 2019 Posted February 22, 2019 I use PRTG for windows. There also is an app for both android and ios.

runtimesandbox 171 Posted February 24, 2019 Author Posted February 24, 2019 PRTG is complete overkill. As others have said it would be useful to be able to see CPU / RAM usage and network (input / output) in the dashboard remotely.
Spaceboy 2573 Posted February 24, 2019 Posted February 24, 2019 I also use PRTG. It can be a bit overwhelming at first
Tur0k 148 Posted February 25, 2019 Posted February 25, 2019 Webmin works well for my Linux Emby server. I allows quick access to current system performance. I use manage engine for monitoring over longer durations of time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
subzero88 1 Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 Yes, this is mostly very interesting especially with some SMART values and reporting like email / push notification on the phone. I guess the most installations are on simple client hardware, so not everyone is capable of a dedicated reporting tool.
runtimesandbox 171 Posted May 6, 2019 Author Posted May 6, 2019 I know that FreeNAS uses netdata which provides a decent view of all this info (also possibly a tad overkill),, No windows support as of yet https://github.com/netdata/netdata/issues/92
kikinjo 281 Posted May 6, 2019 Posted May 6, 2019 Check out playback reporting plugin, in latest version dev added cpu / ram monitor for 24h. great addition and really good plugin ! 6
runtimesandbox 171 Posted May 6, 2019 Author Posted May 6, 2019 thanks, nice addition and interesting plugin! Would still be good to have the cpu / network usage on the main dashboard page 1
chef 3810 Posted June 25, 2019 Posted June 25, 2019 If you are in windows you could check out core temp application. It puts all those stats in the sys tray. I find it very useful

I find it very useful Thanks for the suggestion - the initial request around this feature in the dashboard is that a lot of us manage our servers remotely through the web interface so a tray icon wouldn't be useful 1
chef 3810 Posted June 25, 2019 Posted June 25, 2019 (edited) The Playback Reporting plugin does have a resource Tab which seems to graph out CPU usage of time. I'm not sure it is real-time (although seems to be), and it definitely is not located directly on the dashboard main page, which would be useful. Edited June 25, 2019 by chef
nitrup93 17 Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 (edited) Hi all, I don't have the "ressources" link on the tab, do you know why ? I use Emby on NAS synology DS918+ Edited November 29, 2020 by nitrup93
nitrup93 17 Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 (edited) I don"t use Windows or I don't understand your question Edited November 29, 2020 by nitrup93
Neminem 1518 Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 (edited) If you are referring to the Playback Reporting plugin. It's not in there any more, it was scraped about a year ago. Don't know why. I use a combo of zabbix and grafana. Edited November 29, 2020 by jaycedk
