Hi all,

Emby stopped working on me a couple of weeks ago. It just won't run. No error messages pop up on screen and I can't connect to localhost on the browser.

I tried to download a new install but when i run the installation program, i get an "application cannot be started" error box. The details contain the below. Can anyone help?

Hey Luke,

I'm unable to reinstall the .net 4.6.2 update. The blocking message is that it's already installed. Also tried to figure out how to uninstall it... turns out I can't either! :( It's a windows update.

I was wondering that by installing 4.7, would that resolve this? 4.7 comes with the windows creators update that I have yet to install...

I suppose you can try it.

yup... that didn't work either... uninstalled emby and just using the built-in kodi library manager now... shame...

You can probably bypass the above error by downloading the portable version from the download page on our website.
