vaise 340 Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 Hi, Every server restart this happens, and I believe other times while running it tries again. This IP address (192.168.1.1) is my local router. Why is it trying to open port 1780 on my local router ? I uninstalled the plugin for tracktv and restarted - only plugins now are nextpvr, server backup and box sets. Happy2Play 9783 Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 Do you uses automatic port mapping or are you manually portforwarding? If not then just disable the option automatic port mapping. Dashboard-Advanced-Hosting
Luke 42081 Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 It's not trying to open port 1780, it's trying to communicate with the router over port 1780.
vaise 340 Posted April 26, 2017 Author Posted April 26, 2017 Thanks for the info. I dont want/use Emby externally, I use the local IP address and connect manually from each local device (6 x roku's). So i disable automatic port mapping upnp. Is that all I need to do to stop the errors ? One day I may get a better upload rate (come on Australia NBN) and may look at remote access. Thanks, Vaise.
Happy2Play 9783 Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 Yes that should eliminate the error. Not positive but you may have to restart the server.
