Volume differences between pc user accounts

So, I've been trying to get higher volume levels on playback and I've noticed a distinct difference in the volume level between the account the server is installed on (admin) and the standard account I usually use. Don't know if this is a computer (laptop) problem, or a MB thing. Movies are on networked laptop external hard drive (hard wired direct, network works fine), and location is by UNC. There's no problem with playing the movies, just this distinct drop off in volume when using the standard account. Any thoughts?

I don't see anyway for the server to adjust sound based on the user that is logged in. If you login into the webclient using the account that you normally use on the laptop, does it have sound issues?

Just click your user portrait on the server webpage and choose Sign Out. Then you can Sign In as the other user.

It's the PC user account, not the MB user, that I'm talking about. I log in as the same MB user in both PC (Win 7 Pro) accounts.

It's not a big deal, just trying to determine if I have some kind of PC issue or an MB issue.

Most likely it is the hardware.

This may or may not help but try it anyway for each profile that is having issues.
