So far i was using Tversity server, because its able to transcode, and show cyrilic subtitles correctly. Today i installed emby server, and i really like it, but i am not able to setup cyrilic subtitles to show correctly. Any support on this? Also, Because from Kodi, i am not able to cast any online movie to my tv (then i click cast to tv, it sends me back to menu), is it possible to use kodi to find the movie i want, add it to emby server, and browse it from tv using emby server?
yardameus 221 Posted April 23, 2017 Posted April 23, 2017 Do the subtitles show correctly on the web client? Did you select the appropriate language in the subtitle settings? You might have more help with this in the windows server subforum. This addon just makes it possible to keep the Kodi database in sync with the Emby server, so you can use Kodi like an Emby client. 1
ljubisa86 0 Posted April 23, 2017 Author Posted April 23, 2017 The subtitles are showing as question mark and some undefined characters, regarding the settings i have option to download, and show macedonian language... Also, if i use kodi as emby client, does that means embi will transcode movies from kodi? Because when i browse movies directly from TV, when i select kodi, i get unsupported format, and if i select emby, i can watch the movies transcoded from embi, but only local movies, not online...

If the latter, then it won't work. I have kodi and emby installed on pc. The idea that i want, is to be able to watch new released videos online on my tv, but because the tv is not android, i have to use some server, in order to stream... so my question was, how to watch online movies via emby or kodi on tv?
