bluezog 7 Posted April 22, 2017 Posted April 22, 2017 Hi all, I'm looking for some help with library scan, all of a sudden it has stopped completing and getting stuck at 33%. It was sticking at 53% but i removed my music library and music video library but trying to avoid removing my TV and Film libraries. I've looked through the server logs but don't really know what im looking for . Any help would be apreciated. Server version: 3.2.13.0 server-63628385860.txt server-63628415999.txt
ebr 16195 Posted April 22, 2017 Posted April 22, 2017 Can you try eliminating whatever is causing the below requests (Ombi, perhaps?) just to see if it makes a difference? 2017-04-21 16:50:39.9122 Info HttpServer: HTTP GET http://DDNS:8096/emby/users/da940beb73d04c1b98e66da8d82f478c/items/990cf3f23dd11aa990406527d3a9af25. bluezog 7 Posted April 22, 2017 Author Posted April 22, 2017 Hi ebr, Thanks for the reply. I am running Ombi, but I had already tried the library scan without Ombi running and I have just tried again to be sure. Library scan still sticking at 33% with Ombi shutdown. I have had Ombi running for a while now and library scan had been completing fine, it's just over the last few days that i noticed it sticking.
Luke 42085 Posted April 22, 2017 Posted April 22, 2017 Can you provide a new log of the scan with Ombi shut down? Also, as a test, can you try uninstalling the AutoBoxSets plugin? Thanks !
bluezog 7 Posted April 23, 2017 Author Posted April 23, 2017 Hi Luke, Here is a new log, Ombi is shut down and I have uninstalled AutoBoxSets. Library scan still stuck at 33%. Any help would be great, thanks server-63628539891.txt
Solution Luke 42085 Posted April 23, 2017 Solution Posted April 23, 2017 How many boxsets and playlists do you have? Is it reasonable to remove them all as a test to see if that resolves it? Thanks. 1
bluezog 7 Posted April 23, 2017 Author Posted April 23, 2017 I dont have any playlists and only one boxset that i created apart from the AutoBoxSet one, so i'ts no problem to remove them. I get back to you when done. Thanks
bluezog 7 Posted April 24, 2017 Author Posted April 24, 2017 Hi Luke, Thanks, it looks like the box sets were causing the problem, even trying to remove them was an issue. Got all the collections removed and the library scan completed normally. I reinstalled AutoBoxSets and it has recreated all the collections and erverything seems fine now. Again thanks for all your help.
Luke 42085 Posted April 24, 2017 Posted April 24, 2017 Interesting, thanks. do you still have those boxsets by any chance? I would have liked to see the contents of their collection.xml files. Thanks.
Happy2Play 9783 Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 Hi Luke, Thanks, it looks like the box sets were causing the problem, even trying to remove them was an issue. Got all the collections removed and the library scan completed normally. I reinstalled AutoBoxSets and it has recreated all the collections and erverything seems fine now. Again thanks for all your help. Have you by chance moved any of your movies to different folders?
bluezog 7 Posted April 25, 2017 Author Posted April 25, 2017 @@Luke, I have some of them left as I ended up deleting them from the collections folder in %appdata% and moved them to recycle bin. I could send you a zip file with the one I have if you want. @@Happy2Play, Yip, i've been moving films from one folder to another and also moving them to new folders as well. I guess thats whats caused the problem, though emby did pick up the changes as I was moving stuff about. At least if it happens again I know where to look for the issues, thanks.
