arrbee99 1817 Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 On the My Preferences menu, always find it confusing that under Display, the option that has a down arrow, you can never actually click on the arrow, though you can in most of the space to the left. under Home Screen, the options that have a down arrow, you can never actually click on the arrow, though you can in most of the space to the left. Also under Library Order, the selection hand appears over the symbols and names and gaps to the left but aren't clickable, while the arrows are clickable (unlike any of the other arrows on the page). under Playback Settings, the options that have a down arrow, you can never actually click on the arrow, though you can in most of the space to the left. under Profile, the option that has the down arrow, this one actually is clickable. .....so I always seem to go for the arrow, which mostly does nothing.
Happy2Play 9785 Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 (edited) I see what you are saying. None of the arrows are clickable, only the box. @@Luke here is an example only selectbackdrop is clickable not selectArrowContainer. Edited April 21, 2017 by Happy2Play
CBers 7474 Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 Always had problems with the down arrow, but clicking on the field itself works.
ebr 16199 Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 Yeah, that's just how that html "control" works I think. The arrow is an indicator that the list can drop down as opposed to an actual button.

Koleckai Silvestri 1154 Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 It is how Material Design is applied to dropdowns. One of the failings of that system. Probably not as big of a problem with dropdown form elements that are narrower, though.

I know nothing of which you speak (Material what ?), but would that have anything to do with (if you add up the arrows over the various pages) there being one that does work out of maybe 15 ?
