does emby work without internet

i looked for this issue in the forums but wasn't able to find anything.

 

i live out in BFE and have no "always on" internet providers in my area, to get internet i have to tether my phone to my devices. i am wanting to set up emby server on a HTPC server that i have set up and connect to that server from my, and my kids PCs, and a X-Box 360 all of them off line of course just connected to a in home intranet. i can update the media ass its added from my phone to keep the nice look and such but every time i try to connect from the other PCs when the internet is disconnected from the server it tells me that emby for MC cannot connect to the server and displays this number, 35747.

 

any ideas

That sounds like emby connect. If you put in your local server name / IP address and port # I'd expect it to connect.
