Stuck on loggin

Heya all!

 

I have a new one today and I am not quite sure what is going on.

 

My and a few other people are streaming when all of a sudden it loads and keeps loading.

Some reported it to me while I was already rebooting the server as indeed I could not do anything either.

 

All logs are similar but I am adding the latest (smallest log) and earliest (at time of occurrence) only for now.

 

I did not config anything in more then a week, windows server has been running standalone and has not been used for much else then a CPU miner (on low demand).

 

I tried:

- Rebooting many times

- Replacing the System folder with a new version

- Same as above while deleting the old system folder

- Updating windows

- Checking on drivers, but all are good

- Using emby.media to login the server, results as a non-existing IP, but by domain it works and local network too

 

Hope its not serious

hi @@PVTD, I would suggest removing all plugins except for the backup plugin. Then, install the latest version of Emby Server from the website on top of your existing version. Nobody from Emby has ever advised you to do anything like this:

Replacing the System folder with a new version

This is hacking, so first let's try to purify by doing the above, then let us know if the issue persists. Thanks !

Replacing the system folder with the latest version was my first try (overwriting)

 

I did also remove all plugins even backup bit forgot to mention it.

 

The replacing part was only the system folder of Emby, not sure what you mean by hacking :S

I did make a backup of the system folder but maybe something got corrupt that didn't get replaced.

 

It still happens. I will try downgrading now.

@@Luke so I can actually login now after a good night sleep, but all my content is missing (I set every folder back to how it was).

 

No idea what is going on...

Added the last one from 3:45AM (when I gave up and went to sleep)

Also added the following log where I logged in and it worked at 4:59PM (the big log).

Everything was missing and after this log I started importing everything again.

 

It happened random and no one had access to anything (admin or server).

When you rolled back, what version did you attempt to roll back to?

When you ran a library scan your media was not available. Ensure the media is available and then try running another library scan.

It scanned everything, it's all back now but i have to fix a lot of items again QQ

I did not go for a rollback actually, as I could log in again.

 

It looked more like a "service unavailable" error.

Everything works again but it's weird that Emby just went numb. You where stuck on the login screen. It would detect if your password was wrong and output the message tho.

Then this afternoon (as I work and could not check) it works again but with the content missing.

I had to manually start checking for content and had no errors up to now.

 

It's just all weird haha
