Server shows up in android but unable to connect.

When I try to connect to my server it comes up with a spinning loading circle which then goes away after about 5 seconds. No error or anything, it just seems like nothing happens. 

 

Things I've tried:

-Using the official mobile app

-Going on the website in mobile chrome (both desktop and mobile interfaces did not work)

-Using Emby Connect as well as manual IP for both above options

-Restarting the server multiple times

-Creating new user profiles with and without passwords

 

I am however able to connect via DLNA on both my PS3 and a DLNA app on my phone. All devices are on the same network. Any insight into what's causing this would be greatly appreciated!

Turns out all I had to do was port forward. I didn't think that would have been the problem because the server itself still showed up.
