Intermittent Overlay

Occasionally, and annoyingly so far not predictably repeatable, an overlay shadow remains on screen during playback on my Sony Android TV.

 

The information display drops away on start of playback but the shadow remains. Fix is simple, stop playback and start again, it's just annoying having to stop the film and restart it, particularly as most films are dark to start with so it can be a few minutes in before it's noticed and then have to restart the film again as I'm not in far enough to resume.

 

App version 1.3.35g

I'm afraid I've never seen that one...

 

Almost seems like a graphics driver problem of some sort (I know you are on a smart TV but it still has drivers in there somewhere).
