PPatla 2 Posted April 15, 2017 Posted April 15, 2017 When I go into full screen mode with the Emby Chrome client I get a grey line on the right side of the screen. It appears to be a remnant of the up and down scroll bar of Chrome. I can't seem to figure out how to turn this off or get rid of this. Emby snaps into full screen mode no problem, the issue is this annoying grey bar. Has anyone else experienced it? -PPatla
Luke 42078 Posted April 15, 2017 Posted April 15, 2017 Hi, welcome. Can you show a screenshot? I have never seen this before. Thanks !
Luke 42078 Posted April 17, 2017 Posted April 17, 2017 @@PPatla, when the video OSD is showing, how tall is it? Does it go up to where that line is? (I'm guessing not). Thanks.
PPatla 2 Posted April 19, 2017 Author Posted April 19, 2017 (edited) Yes, I just noticed it is there during OSD also. Basically it is like the right up and down scroll for Chrome just turns black/grey. It's harder to detect on the menu because it blends in. It happens on both of my systems (NVIDIA cards) and 16.04.02 LTS. it's the width of the scroll bar. I mentioned it's the Emby Chrome add on right? I just played with it more, when I am in OSD mode with the movie playing if I click on the area the movie keeps playing. (of course when I click on the screen you get the pause response) Edited April 19, 2017 by PPatla
PPatla 2 Posted April 19, 2017 Author Posted April 19, 2017 It runs from the top of the screen to the bottom of the screen. I just went ahead and loaded up the Emby Chrome Add On to my old Mac Notebook Pro and the same line issue is there as well. Chrome 64 bit version 57 (latest version)
Luke 42078 Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 ok,i thought you were talking about the line in the middle of the screen in the above screenshot. Yea I'm not quite sure what that is. We don't show a scrollbar within the video osd.
PPatla 2 Posted April 19, 2017 Author Posted April 19, 2017 I looked at a few more things and here is what I additionally understand. It does not happen with the native HTML5 viewer, this works on both Chrome and Safari with no issue. The Grey Line only shows up on the Chrome Add On Extension for both Mac and Ubuntu. -PPatla
