LiveTV Guide on Android TV

I was at my sons house and tested Android TV with EMBY.  However, I could not see the actual guide.  What it showed was all of the stations as tiles in a row.  Similar to the old ROKU App way of showing the guide.

 

My question is, why is the guide not showing?  The images from the download page shows the guide as I would expect.

The Live TV guide is the first tile in the ON NOW row.

Where exactly were you and what else was on the screen?

 

I'm guessing maybe there was no guide data so you didn't get an "On Now" row either on the home screen nor in the Live TV section...

you are correct.  For some reason my channel mappings in the LiveTV section were lost.  I had to remap the XMLTV channels within EMBY.  So the guide is filled in now.

 

I will check the Android TV later and see if that corrects the issue.

So I just had time to retest the Android TV.  You were correct, once I remapped the channels the AndroidTV started to show the guide and Now On options.
