New Server

Hello All,

Loaded new server, ran backup for users system and user states

loaded plugins and now coverart is showing broken images in the default profile setup section and i have no cover art showing up on my home-screen

New server has different location(s) for movies, tv, etc

 

Thoughts anyone???

I'm assuming that you have installed all the plugins (That you had before)  and run a full library scan?

I should have mentioned i did that already, however...

i uninstalled the coverart plugin

deleted all the folders with coverart

reinstalled and still no joy

What happens if you uninstall the cover art plugin and leave it uninstalled? do your covers work properly then?

covers work correctly just not the cover art overlay

Images look Fine, no overlay(dvd cover, bluray, etc)

in the settings, it is not recognizing the images for the overlay (broken image icon)

Distro 2013  and just installed latest update 3 Distro 2015

if i cant find an answer by Sunday i will be forced to reload everything from Scratch - man i dont want to do this (over 1000 movies, hundreds of cds, tv shows etc)

What would be the correct process to delete everything and the correct process to reload everything (step by step please)

 

only thing i need/want from old server backup is the user logons and password and their play states for all the movies they have watched

 

unfortunately everything become latest releases when you scan your whole library!!!

It doesn't look like the server log you posted has an occurrence of you pulling up that CoverArt configuration screen.  Can you please do that and then post the log that contains that?  Thanks.

Okay, I didn't see that in the log I looked at but that is definitely the problem...

That's very strange and on windows you don't typically see that. Is it possible you may have antivirus software that tampered with the imagemagick binaries that are inside the emby install folder? What you could try doing is installing the server again on top of your existing version. That will get those binaries restored in the event they were tampered with.

I reloaded the server on top and still no joy!!!!

 

My server is brand-new only thing loaded on it is Windows 10 all the latest updates for it and EMBY server

Can you clear out your log files for the server, then restart the server and create the problem, then post that log so we can see a clean reproduction of the issue?  Thanks.

I Cleared all the logs (C:\Users\Chip\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\logs)

restarted Emby
