ernstgot 17 Posted April 11, 2017 Posted April 11, 2017 I have a m3u file and it plays the channel however only for a range of 9-23 sec at a time, any idea?
Luke 42078 Posted April 11, 2017 Posted April 11, 2017 Hi there @@ernstgot, we're very sorry to hear about this. In order for us to best help you, please discuss a specific example, and then please accompany that example with the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks !
ernstgot 17 Posted April 11, 2017 Author Posted April 11, 2017 As you see here you can see the channel only loads for 13 sec then will stop log.txt
Luke 42078 Posted April 11, 2017 Posted April 11, 2017 Actually no need. I found the IPTV video url in your log. Try punching that URL into VLC and you'll notice the same thing happens. The reason is because this is one of those video urls where we are supposed to just keep automatically reconnecting and we haven't' added support for that yet. Thanks !
ernstgot 17 Posted April 11, 2017 Author Posted April 11, 2017 are there plans to add this function soon?
Luke 42078 Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 @@ernstgot, we'll try the ffmpeg -stream_loop param and see if that takes care of it. Thanks.
Swynol 375 Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 in VLC if i change the para Disc Caching and Network Caching to 9999 then it plays although with a small blip every 20 seconds. any way of changing the settings in FFMPEG or do we need to wait for an update to emby server?
Luke 42078 Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 There is a new release of Emby Server rolling out and we've added the auto_loop param.
ernstgot 17 Posted December 11, 2017 Author Posted December 11, 2017 My m3u file still loops from anywhere from 3-20sec even with the loop setting on or off.
Luke 42078 Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 @@ernstgot, what exactly are you trying to say?
ernstgot 17 Posted December 11, 2017 Author Posted December 11, 2017 I have a m3u file for my live tv and when i pick a channel to play the video plays for a few sec's then restarts. I have selected the loop settings to be on and off and neither seem to help the issue.
Luke 42078 Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 Several months have passed since your initial report. Please discuss an example and attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. thanks !
