Thex 0 Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 (edited) Hi! I wonder how to completely avoid the use of ffmpeg when streaming certain ts in VLC(nightly build). Stream mapping: Stream #0:0 -> #0:0 (copy) Stream #0:1 -> #0:1 (mp2 (native) -> aac (native)) Kodi will receive all 8 audio tracks without remuxing. Thanks. Edited April 10, 2017 by Thex
ebr 16187 Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 How are you playing Emby items directly in VLC (and why)?
Thex 0 Posted April 10, 2017 Author Posted April 10, 2017 (edited) Thank you for reply. VLC may browse local UPnP servers. Debug Dlna: Found matching device profile: Vlc Info App: [path]\emby.windows\ffmpeg\20170308\ffmpeg.exe -f mpegts... Edited April 10, 2017 by Thex
Luke 42083 Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 It's possible the Vlc dlna profile could use some improvement.
