Collections from inaccessible libraries still show up (empty) for users.

My kids only have access to the "Kids" library.  Since I don't see a way to turn off collections per user basis - how can I hide collections in general from the top navigation area in web access?  When I click on "Collections" in the top of that library, it shows ALL the collections in the entire server, not just their library.  When I click on one of those collections, there's no movies in it - but it's very confusing for them that there 100+ collections, but no movies in most of them.  Is there a way to only show the collections that they have access too?

 

Some of the movies I have duplicated (some for their library and some in the parents' libraries - allowing me to hide some of the kids' movies from my own view), but now the collections show more discs than there really is.  Example, Avengers has 4 discs instead of 2 because that movie exists in both libraries.
