ifignella 12 Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 I keep getting the art image for the primary image when adding new movies.
Luke 42077 Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 hi @@ifignella, what do you mean exactly? can you show a screenshot of an example? thanks !
ifignella 12 Posted April 10, 2017 Author Posted April 10, 2017 Sorry for the late response. I was waiting to add a new movie. So basically I wasn't getting the poster image. In place of the poster image, I was getting the art image. I would use the web to navigate to that movie, click the 3 dots, edit images and see that was indeed what was happening. I would search for a new image and the correct poster image would show and I would download that. This happened for probably the last few weeks. Today I added a movie and, of course, it worked fine. So I guess all is well right now. If I have that happen again I'll screenshot and post back here. Thanks @@Luke.
ifignella 12 Posted April 14, 2017 Author Posted April 14, 2017 (edited) @@Luke, This is what I get when movies are added. The first movie was just added. The other ones I manually changed the images. Edited April 14, 2017 by ifignella
Luke 42077 Posted April 15, 2017 Posted April 15, 2017 I just tested the same movie, adding La La Land and I don't see that problem. Maybe something else added that image and Emby is just recognizing that it's there?
ifignella 12 Posted April 15, 2017 Author Posted April 15, 2017 I'll check that. Possible because it's happening with all my movies.
ifignella 12 Posted April 15, 2017 Author Posted April 15, 2017 @@Luke, I don't have any other programs running that would affect this. When I go to the movie folder, I notice there isn't a poster or folder image there. I'm assuming emby is using the art image as a replacement for that. Just not sure why I'm getting no folder.jpg or poster.png. I have primary image checked in the metadata settings.
Luke 42077 Posted April 15, 2017 Posted April 15, 2017 Please provide the emby server log from when that movie was first scanned in. thanks.
