goodjorb 0 Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 Unable to start the server. All suggestions refer to an MBPlus Plugin. I do not have this. I did a fresh install. No help. Another suggestion was to reboot and wait a few minutes because windows wasn't releasing the port. No help. I cannot access the server, the dashboard or anything relating to Emby. What's the next step?
Luke 42080 Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 Hi there, please attach the emby server log. You can learn how to do that here: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/739-how-to-report-a-problem/ Thanks !

ebr 16185 Posted April 11, 2017 Posted April 11, 2017 Hi. Those are playback logs. If the server is throwing an error, we would need to see the server log and, if there is one labeled 'unhandled' that one as well. Thanks.

Happy2Play 9782 Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 (edited) To me it looks like your notification.db is bad. Emby tries to reset/retry but gets a in use access error. You need to shut down server and manually delete or rename "C:\Users\scott\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\data\notifications.db". 2017-04-12 18:24:09.7617 Error SqliteNotificationsRepository: Error loading notifications database file. Will reset and retry. 2017-04-12 18:24:09.7617 Error Main: UnhandledException System.AggregateException: One or more errors occurred. ---> System.IO.IOException: The process cannot access the file 'C:\Users\scott\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\data\notifications.db' because it is being used by another process.
