Hi everyone, currently running Ubuntu 16.02 with updating issues.

i received the notice from Emby that an update was available (ubuntu). I have manually updated Emby and restarted the server but i am still getting the notification that an update is available and that i am running beta. When i installed the update i went through the stable release channel (link).

Now if i try to run the update commands again, i get a confirmation that i have the most up to date version:

server@server:~$ sudo apt-get install emby-server
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
emby-server is already the newest version (3.2.11-27.1).
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 6 not upgraded.

Within Emby however, i get the following notification:

Version 3.2.11.0 beta

A new version of Emby Server is available!

Version 3.2.11.1 is now available for download.

Please shutdown the server and update manually.

Anyone else having this issue?

Yes. Posted in the Debian thread above as well.

Thank you for the report. This happens because some times we fail to tag releases appropriately. We are the midst of doing a major overhaul of our build pipeline.. This will be one of the issues resolved.

Looks to be fixed now.

I don't know if this is related, but I suddenly have a "beta" suffix at my version. I'm not running the beta version of emby server, so I'm somewhat confused if this is due to a version tagging fail.

This is what I see in the Dashboard:

Version 3.2.12.0 beta

And this is what I see in Debian itself:

emby-server 3.2.12-28.1
