madvr smooth motion

Hi,

 

Every time i play a video in MBT, i have to uncheck "smooth motion" in madvr settings. If i restart the same video or start another, the smooth motion option is checked back on. It just won't save.

 

I have Jriver19 installed on the same computer as well and experience no such behavior.

 

From what i know madvr folder for MBT and Jriver are located in separate folders (not shared), yet settings for one are saved and not for the other.

 

 

Any ideas? any registry entry i can force it with?

there's a file in "C:\Users\xxxxxxxxx\AppData\Roaming\MediaBrowser-Theater\config" called "system.xml"; you can disable it from in there by finding "<UseMadVrSmoothMotion>true</UseMadVrSmoothMotion>" and making it "<UseMadVrSmoothMotion>false</UseMadVrSmoothMotion>"

 

this overwrites the tickbox option in madVR each time you load up a movie from MBT.  looks like it may be a future option in MBT.

 

once you edit this in the xml file, it will stop forcing it on anymore video/movie files you play

This did the trick.

I wish Smooth motion coulda worked well for me... but for some reason it doesn't.
