Dark mode?

Somehow my toddler's ipad keeps dimming to the lowest setting for playback.  If I stop and start the video again the normal brightness resumes.  Is there a way he is accidentally activating this feature, and is there an easy way to turn it off without stopping playback?

Ah this is probably the gesture swipe during video playback to adjust brightness. I guess we will need a setting for that.

Yes I didn't even know the feature was there but just found swiping down during video playback decreases brightness and swiping up toggles it back to the original brightness.  I like the feature - but didn't see it on the wiki and didn't know it existed.  Any other hidden gems?

Swiping on one side of the screen will adjust brightness, the other side volume.
