Hi there,

 

I am currently switching from Plex to Emby. 

The main problem right now is, that the Emby App for my Samsung Smart TV is not useable at all.

 

 

First off. The first start of the emby app shows, that all icons were missing in the menus. (I reinstalled the app several times, no change)

But this is not the main problem. I was able to login and get everything configured. Now everytime I want to start a movie (doen't matter if MKV H264 or AVI MP4) the black screen with the "loading" label appears and.... nothing. The movies won't even start.

Sometimes I get to see the first frame and then it says something like "Network Disconnected".

 

So I thought my emby setup is broken.

I tried it with my chromecast, fire tv stick, android phone and pc, and.... on these devices everything works perfectly.

 

Could it be that my TV is not supported at the moment?

Okay, everything is working now.

All files are playing if the files are transcoded. Direct play is mostly not working.

 

I think the problem is with my rclone ACD setup. My question is handled in the rclone board: https://forum.rclone.org/t/acd-plex-only-big-files-transcoding-is-working/1647
