Intel N2807 GPU Transcoding or even capable of streaming.

Hi all,

 

I have Intel N2807  box lying around collecting dust.

Could this be used as Emby server?

 

I have plan using Emby to stream x264 1080p and x265 1080p. 

Is this even possible with this old box?

P.S Regarding Emby Connect? Where are the credentials stored? In Embys servers or :S? And how secure it is

If you're primarily streaming without transcoding it should be fine. It may be able to handle some occasional (but light) transcoding duties.

If my client network connection is slow will it need to transode? Cant it just buffer it?

If your network bandwidth is less than the movie's, then the server will transcode.
