gleep52 17 Posted April 4, 2017 Posted April 4, 2017 I'm on beta 3.2.10.4 server and chrome Version 57.0.2987.133. When I start playing "The Secret Life of Pets" it makes it to 49 seconds every time and then freezes up. The server says it is direct streaming and the orange bar far exceeds the tiny blue playback bar on the dashboard. If I hit play and wait patiently a few times, it will eventually start playback again, only to freeze a few seconds later. Attached are the server and ffmpeg logs. If I force a lower bitrate the playback is better, but the audio will repeat the same noise/sound for a few seconds at some points and then finally catch up to the video and resume normal playback. It is not a bandwidth issue - watching the server and my client both only see tiny spikes of 100mbps out of 1gb usage. I even tried copying a huge file between the two computers while it was streaming and it preformed the exact same way as without the file sucking bandwidth. I can play the same file in Edge and it works just fine. Thoughts? ffmpeg-remux-685d8661-acd7-404b-a2f4-f5bb5fd8b5b9.txt server-63626855612.txt
zigzagtshirt 55 Posted April 4, 2017 Posted April 4, 2017 @@gleep52 Are you able to test with Chrome on a different machine? Curious to see if behavior is the same...
Luke 42081 Posted April 4, 2017 Posted April 4, 2017 While I don't see this myself, it's not uncommon to have issues with beta chrome versions.
