Server Shutting Down At Random

Version: 3.2.7.0

This problem seems to have started within the last week or so.

A few times, I've tried to connect, and have been unable to. When checking the computer running the server, I find that the server is no longer present in the system tray.

I relaunch it, and everything is fine for at least several hours.

Then the next day (or a few days later), the same thing will happen.

Any suggestions for how I can track down what's causing this? There haven't been any other changes to the system.

There is a 3.2.10 not sure if it will fix your problem but it is a place to start.  Uploading the log file will also help.

I just got the update to 3.2.10 and in the process of updating, the same thing happened.

 

I clicked the "Restart Now" button to complete the update, got the little spinning circle, and then eventually, "This site can’t be reached"

 

I logged into the server computer then, and indeed, the server had shut down again without restarting.

 

So I'm guessing that there's something preventing it from starting up automatically after a shutdown? Maybe?

 

I'm attaching the server logs from the past hour.

Update: It doesn't seem to want to update to 3.2.10 for some reason. It's stuck on 3.2.7.0 and when I try to update, get the server shutdown as described above.

I couldn't install the update due to a file in use. I've rebooted and it seems to have updated now.

 

For some reason, it was also not starting up when the system was rebooted, but that also seems to have been resolved.

 

So it would seem that something was preventing the update, and doing it manually after a reboot fixed the problem (so far).

 

I'll monitor it for a few days and if it doesn't recur, consider the issue resolved.
