Is the new content notification limit back?

Hey

Looks like the new content notification limit is being set to 10.

Some months ago we requested not to do this and it was approved until now, is this a design decision?

Hmm but in prior versions I definitely got more than 10 notifications. When I'm adding a season now, I'm being notified only for the first 10 episodes.

 

So when nothing has changed serverside, Slack must have made some changes.

But you'll agree, when I setup different notification types now (pushbullet etc.) and I'm just getting 10 notifications on all of these, it has to be the server and indeed something has changed there...?

@@Luke something has to be changed serverside. Whatever notification system I use, I'm only being notified for 10 items at most. This was definitely not the case on prior server versions.

Yes I checked and there is a max of 10 over a few minute period but it has always been there, you've just never reached the limit before.

Okay I checked my old notifications... you're right :-)

I could have sworn I got more than 10 earlier.

 

But why do you limit it to 10?

Could you please add an option to set the limit manually? This can be really annoying when adding more than 10 episodes of different shows my mates are waiting for.

Otherwise, could you please tell me in which file this setting is stored?
